OCR Level 5 Certificate in Teaching Learners with SpLD( Dyslexia)

NEXT COURSE STARTS FEBRUARY 2009- FUNDED PLACES AVAILABLE
Introduction
The OCR Level 5 Certificate in Teaching Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia) has been developed to recognise candidates skills, knowledge and understanding of the Special Educational Needs sector and their ability to deliver effective teaching sessions to learners with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia) affecting literacy and numeracy
The qualification aims to develop candidates skills and knowledge and to recognise their achievements in a practical way that is relevant to the work context. It is anticipated that much of the practical evidence required to meet the assessment requirements of the qualifications will be naturally occurring.
These qualifications have been accepted by the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Authority (QCDA) for inclusion in the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
